紐約的Distillery不再是Brooklyn所專有了！Astoria Distilling Company去年底在Long Island City/Sunnyside的Falchi Building開了一間Tasting Room: Proof + Gauge。目前他們的招牌酒類是Queens Courage, New York Old Tom Gin。喝起來雖然citrus的味道不重，但因為製作的過程有加點蜂蜜所以多點甜味也非常順口。
Proof + Gauge就以Queens Courage為基酒設計出多樣調酒，喝了兩種(Mustachio: Queens Courage, pistachio, lime, egg white, aromatic bitters; The Beauregard: Queens Courage, homemade vermouth, pickled blueberries) 都蠻滿意的！
Proof + Gauge的營業時間目前只有星期三，四，五的4pm-10pm，每杯調酒價格10-11元，但是4pm-6pm是happy hours，都減兩元，以紐約的調酒來說是非常好的deal。這裡也有賣一些craft beer，對面則是Doughnut Plant在Queens的分店，想吃點甜食也很方便。
其實Astoria Distilling Company目前釀酒的工廠是在Westchester那邊，最近要在LIC這裡先完成裝瓶系統，之後會有tour可以參觀。另一個有趣的事情是跟bartender聊天才知道原來UBER和LYFT這兩家Car Service紐約的總部也都在這個Falchi Building裡面！
